Villain in this hand is solid. But on tilt. Losing steadily since I sat down. Obviously experienced. Stack is like $700 + change.
I'm about even and playing super tight. My stack is like $800.
I get KK tug and decide to limp. Bad play? Maybe. Next guy folds next guy is villain he raises to $25. All fold and I elect to just call. Originally I planned to limp/rr but I thought it would better disguise my hand, plus Im out of position against a good player and I can get off cheap if ace hits. Thoughts?
Flop comes AdXdx. I check he checks.
Now I think my KK is good. Turn is 5d. Giving me nfd to go with my KK. Now I bet $35. Opponent raises to $75. Hero?

Wow. What a mess. Once you limp pre, you have to reraise. After you decided to bet the turn, you should have had a plan in case you get raised. Otherwise just check call with your nut flush draw. As played, I would fold.

Don't fold. You are getting exactly the right odds to draw to the flush. Not to mention Kings are probably outs as well, giving us 11 outs. Even if we were getting worse pot odds, I'd still call due to the chance we are ahead.

Preflop though, I'd raise to $85 or $100. That sets you up for a perfect situation to stack off on any non-ace flop. By just calling, you are creating a situation where you are too deep relative to the flop to stack off on even a non-ace flop.

I am reading his smallish raise as "I have Ax, and I want a cheap SD, so I am raising here, hoping you would call and I can check behind on river."

I am considering turning my KK into a bluff at this spot...plus because you played KK in such weird line, flush draw is very well within your range.

Re-raise, $250!

If you're called here, I would pray for a diamond =).

The biggest mistake here is limping pre. I'm not going to comment on whether you should limp raise here because really this situation should never arise. The only time limping utg might make sense is at a loose passive preflopp table when you have small pairs. As played call the turn for previously stated reasons and lead otr when you hit a diamond or a k.

You're getting necessary odds to call here, I don't think there's any need for raising hoping he folds a smaller Aif the villian is solid. what do you think he's iso'ing with pf from utg+2 that we fold out? AT?.

You guys play like liddle girls.

Villain will fold out most hands that aren't flush, and probably even two pairs in this spot.

Set is not folding because he has close to the implied.

What's great about our KK is that we have king of diamond, so even when villain does have the flush, he's still concerned about running into the nut flush in this spot.

Odds only work most of the time when you're IP, OOP for one card flush/straight has very little implied.

On second thought, I might even raise it a little bit more to close to $300, so we almost have the odds to call his shove over the top.

Only thing we're far behind is made diamonds, other than that, we should have close to 11 clean outs, and almost the right odds to call his shove.

My bad. I thought the raise was $75 on top.
