Hero has been at table for about an orbit. Bought in for $600 currently have slightly more than $700. Main villain is utg. Has been at table for like 3 hands. She is a young Asian lady who bought in $500 and lost half of it on first hand with what looked like a bluff. ( she folded to to river raise after leading all the way). So she has ~$250. To the action.
Utg limps. 3 more players limp including button. I look at AA when it's my turn and raise to $45. Size?
Bb folds utg calls all others fold. 2 to the flop.
Flop is kq8rb. I bet $90. Villain snap shoves. Hero?
Also how is my bet sze on flop?

Call, it's only ~120 to call in a pot of ~350.

All bet sizes look fine.

Call. NH

My standard raise would be like $40 here, but OOP and lookin' like it's going multiway, I like $45 or even $50.

Flop bet size is good. Your goal here is to get all in, so effective stacks is more important to consider than pot size. I think I chunk it 80/120. $90 is right in there.

IMO only other flop betsize option is overbetshove. But she prob folds too many mediocre hands, so I prefer the way you did it.

Snap call. It sounds like you got out-flopped, but this is silly. Villain has 50bb to start the hand and you've already put 26 bb in the pot with AA. Just call, see KQ, hit an 8 on the turn and win.

Pre sizing is fine (ideal really since you got it heads-up with a low spr against a Villain who is probably prone to blowing up or stacking off light). I'd probably bet a bit smaller on the flop, like $75ish, but $90 is fine and this is all pretty standard.

Sorry you lost?
