No one things a bluff is possible? I find that on paired boards there's often a lot of funny/unusual stabs at the pot representing trips.

First reason is that BB has a strong range when he flats and we're not doing good against the hands he's calling down with. His range looks something like TT-QQ, AQ+, 88-99 sometimes and KK-AA sometimes. Against the 88-TT portion of his range he might call a bet but most likely isn't stacking off. So we can get our 1 street of value against those hands later by either betting or calling good turns and our EV against that portion of his range will be about the same as betting flop. Against the QQ-AA portion we get to pot control and see a turn and river and win his stack the times we hit our 2 outer.

Second reason is that the original raiser has a weak range for just calling the 3bet and closing the action and, while we could definitely bet and get value from the 88-TT part of his range, there is a lot of merit to checking back and letting a young LAG stab with his air if BB checks turn. And since air will make up a lot more of his range than 88-TT I think checking gets max value from him.

With both of these reasons combined I feel like checking flop is best.

It's an interesting proposition. I disagree though. I don't know if BB necessarily has such a strong range. If he's good, sure. But no reason to believe that. He could have a lot of goofy AJ or KQ type stuff that we'd be allowing to draw for free, and he could be more than happy to shovel money in with 99.

Q-A on the turn will really screw us, and both villains could easily have 88-TT here.

I also don't know if there will be a lot of stabbing in a 3 way 3bet pot.

I had been a good boy for the hands leading up to the hand in question. It may have been my first 3-bet at the table. If I had to guess, Villain would put me on something like JJ+ on the pair front - he may not 4-bet KK+ to keep EP in the pot, or he may just want to get immediate value from me because he thinks EP will often fold preflop (which he will).

My exact range for 3-betting EP in this hand is likely TT+/AQo/AJs.
