Everyone agrees 3-betting pre was horrible. However, we sometimes do **** and have to take the best line possible. And the best line here imo was to shove given stack sizes. He wasn't folding AK anywhere of the hand anw.

Why are we three betting light OOP into villains who will call with a ton pre? Especially this short? We should be pounding them pre when we have real hands, not air. These are not the guys we bluff pre. Lots of these guys will pay us off post when we actually hit, too. Plus they've already called your 3 bet pre and won the hand! Don't pay them off again here!

To be honest this really isn't a bad fold pre OOP in a raised pot when you're only 90 BB deep. I'd probably call though because the villains are so spewy.

On the flop against a villain with no concept of bet sizing I am going to either bet/fold and try to collect or check and hope he makes a mini bet and we get to pull towards our 10 outs. I know check/call is weak but I think I like that line against a V whose betting pattern is so bad and who is going to stack off so light here. He's less likely to fold Ax or 10 8 than I think we're giving him credit for. Villain is a fish. Why do we think he's suddenly turned into a fit or fold player here? Why do we need to shove our stack here this light? This is a calling station!

I don't think you are committed now against this V who won't push you around enough here and who will call you enough once you actually hit something. Protect the other 3/4 of your stack.
