2/5 @ yellow head

(BB) Hero $480: A4
(UTG +1) V1 $575:
(MP) V2 $250:

Preflop: Limped around to blinds (3 limpers), blinds x (5-way to the flop)

Flop, Pot = 25
QJQ
Checked around (5-way to the turn)

Turn, Pot = 25
8
SB x, Hero bets 15, V1 calls 15, V2 calls 15, everyone else folds (3-way to the river)

River, Pot = 70
K
Hero x, V1 bets 40, V2 calls 40, Hero X-raises to 135, both v's snap fold
(i think someone would have raised a smaller flush or straight OTT, and i don't think x-raising accomplishes anything im maybe getting called by worse a small % of the time when someone calls the turn with a worse flush or straight or trips). Also will i get raised by a smaller flush/straight if i bet this river instead of x-raising?

I think it's a clear bet for value. You can get called by worse with a bet. It's harder to get called by much worse with a x/r, because even straights and low flushes are essentially bluff catching there.

The answers to these questions completely depend on the players you are up against. I'd be leading for near-pot against bad players who call w/ all kinds of crap and x-raising against players I think will be induced to bluff by a check from me (especially since I am frequently stealing pots).

c/r OTT seems kind of like fancy-play-syndrome and a decent change your going to be playing a really small pot OTR w/ the nut flush - pretty lame if you ask me.

Bet on river would be best. C/c is second best. C/r is definitely the worst of all options.
