2/5 NL not sure what to do with this turn... 2/5 NL not sure what to do with this turn...

2/5 NL live...I'm sitting with $700. Villain is a Young Asian Kid (YAK) who has me covered. I moved to this table specifically because he was here - the kid is pretty spewy and we have a history - mostly me stacking his ass.

MP raises to $25, two callers including YAK, and I complete in the SB with two red nines. BB and a couple of early limpers fold.

Flop: ($87)

T87

I check, Pre-flop raiser checks, YAK bets $60. I call, Pre-flop raiser folds. Anyone raise this or even lead out on the flop? Why?

Turn: ($207)

6

Interesting card! I was planning to lead out if either a diamond hit or I hit my straight - and boom! - both on the turn. I bet $100. YAK looks a bit uncomfortable, quickly checks his cards again, but calls. (diamond check, obviously) I really want some comments here. Go for the CR instead? I led out because the kid is fairly easy to read and I got my info when he didn't look happy and checked his hand again. But I'd love to hear reasons to play it differently.

River: ($407)

8

Another interesting card. I would really hate getting raised on this board so I check with the intention of calling. YAK immediately bets $300. No way he has a flush after his actions on the turn. It's possible he filled up but he's such a spewtard he really could just be turning a middling holding into a bluff, since he perceives my check, wrongly, as weakness. Even though I'd never fold a flush here it wouldn't surprise me if he thinks I'm tight enough to do so.

I call.

Comments on all streets - especially the turn - welcome.

i come here to get opinions from better players than me, not to hear useless crap like this from arrogant azzholes like you.

I know the hand is not that difficult, I just wanted to get some feedback on how I played it and if there are any other ways to do so that I'm currently not seeing. That is the point of this forum, correct?

Oh, and blow me, Gomer.

Get away from this hand, YAK has a huge wide range of hands, dont be a hero with yak, find a better time to stack him.

eh,

for a real answer,

i think your turn play is really good against described player, and given your descrip of him the river seems like a "flip a coin and pick call/fold accordingly" type spot, since you said he can turn hands into bluffs so often.

i'd probably lean toward calling cause you look like you made a dumb turn stab and are giving up to the villain quite often, and he's forced to bluff if he did brick with a naked diamond, right?

Thank you for the helpful comment, I really appreciate it! He actually turned over JT with the J of diamonds. Why he bet the river so hard I have no idea...I think he thought I'd fold a flush. like I said, I seek out any table he's at!

I was just wondering what other lines would be acceptable on the turn than what I did...would going for a CR here be out of the question? I just don't see a player folding a better hand if I do that, obviously, so I don't quite see the point of it.
