2/5 game

Hero: I havent really been pushing pots. I've also been extremely card dead & when I have gotten hands, they've generally been in UTG/UTG+1 (one of those f---ing nights). Just been sitting back playing TAGish, maybe a little weaker than optimal due to being in a somewhat of a funk about taking a few beats early in the session, but have chipped up from $300 to $850 in the past ~3-4 hrs by hitting some flops and also letting a uberlag at the table valuetown himself a few times. I havent gotten out of line whatsoever. Could be viewed as weak, as I have been avoiding/folding in marginal spots since the early bad beats.

Villain: very good LAG who varies his range pretty well. I've played with him several times at 1/2 and 1/3 tables, but I havent played with him at 2/5 before. He is very capable hand reader and pays lots of attention. He's capable of taking lots of different lines depending on context.

V2 - V Weak player. He's a short stacking soft spot. He obv just likes being in the game to BS. Nice guy, but not anyone who is thinking on any sort of deep level.

Hand of note with Villain:
Hero raises to $15 with AQ from UTG, 1 caller and then Villain calls from CO/HJ.
Flop A10Xr, Hero leads for $35, caller folds and villain calls.
Turn A, Hero leads for $50, V raises to $120, Hero calls.
River blank, Hero checks, V pushes for ~$125, hero calls. V shows A10, Hero shows A and mucks. (Please note: this is not one of the bad beats I was bitching about)

Hero raises to $15 with AKhh from UTG+1, 1 call and V calls from BTN.
Hero leads for $45 on QXX flop. Villain and other call.
Turn A, Hero checks (thoughts on this are welcome too I suppose), checks through.
River blank, no flush/straight poss, Hero leads for $135, 1 fold and Villain calls and mucks.

***********************************

Preflop:

V2 ($195) raises to $20 from MP
V (~$2000) calls from BTN
Hero (~$850) calls from BB with A4

Pot ($78 after rake + JP drop)
Flop:
9 Q K

Hero checks; V2 bets $50; Villain thinks for prob 45sec-1min and raises to $140; Hero?
Pot is $268. Hero has ~$830 behind; V2 has ~$125 and Villain covers

V1 only has made hands in his range and isn't going to pay us on a d turn. I fold.

fold, OOP, no immediate pot odds. it will be close to impossible to get it AI if we hit on the turn.

reraising could be ok if you have a great deal of time played with the villain and know he is capable of making a big laydown, like K9. id like reraising even more if we had an extra 3 outs and it would be my line 100%, say A10dd or AJdd. without one those cards it leaves more combos open for a hand we have no FE against like J10
