Tampa hard rock 2/5, 8 handed.

LJ (tight passive, $400eff) opens to $20. Hero (1.2k eff) flats HJ 78. CO (loose passive, covers), SB (loose passive, covers), and BB call.

5 ways, Pot $100, Flop A85. Check to Hero, who bets $50, CO and SB call.

3 way to turn, Pot $250. Turn Q and checks through.

River T. SB leads for $150, Hero calls, CO tank raises to $400 total, SB snap calls.

Pot is currently $1200 and hero getting 5:1. Hero???

Main inflection points:
Pre-flop: Would usually 3bet or fold in this configuration, but against a passive table and a tight/short opener, I elect to flat
Turn: Continue betting against two opponents? Don't think I'm often getting better to fold and worse to call if I bet multiway again on the turn
River: Should I have raised the SB lead? Otherwise call or fold as played? Both opponents are loose passive types and I have them tagged as generally incapable of bluffing, although I was just visiting and only played with them for several hours.

The preflop call is okay against the loose-passive table.

Turn is okay too.

River - we have the 5th best flush against a raise and a call from passive opponents. Just fold.

Everything is fine until the river unless you folded to the raise -- then it's all fine.

Result:

Spoiler:
I snap folded face up. CO shows 36ss, SB shows 24ss. They had the only two combinations of lower flushes possible. I just wasn’t sure if making the call was profitable even getting 5:1 since they’d both have to be overplaying their hands given their passive tag.

Don’t fold faceup

Brutal result but good fold

I usually don’t show, but I was just visiting Tampa and it was my last day there. Just wanted a sanity check because the table couldn’t believe I folded.

Well that's one reason not to show. Low stakes players love to mock "big" folds based on relative rather than absolute hand strength. BTW a significant minority of those saying "Hahahahaha no way *I* would fold there!" would in fact fold there.

5:1. I cant find the fold button here. Even vs two player. Two pair, sets, straight, baby flush. I expect it to be a slightly +ev call.
