V1 has around 750 was down to 200 now on a little bit of up an upswing recently (my favorite target to run a potential bluff on). He is definitely looser than most and has great live reads in general a thinking player leans on the LAGGY side in general

H: I cover. V1 is always spooked by how good I run in general when he is at the table ( it’s honestly crazy). He makes a lot of comments about it. In general I lean on the tighter side

OTTH: v1 makes it 20 in EP I call SB with AsJd (theoretically know it’s a 3! and mostly fold against UTG open) but BB is very very loose and not the best player so I can’t him to call

He says not this time boys and folds

(45)Flop 10s7s8d

I check v bets 25 I make it 85 thoughts?

He thinks and calls

(210) Turn 8s I bet 125 he calls

River Jx check check

Thoughts on hand as played?

First time I read it thought you had the AJ flush, but now seeing offsuit. Just fold it preflop. I don’t think flop raise is the worst, but if he is laggy he is less inclined to fold. Most lags are sticky. Once he calls your flop raise Im not sure what the turn bet accomplishes, he is rarely folding to that size. River looks standard

I think its fine. I'd go a bit bigger OTT. Like 180 to make it a clean PSB OTR. KK/QQ is hating life. I assume we're x/folding river?

"Tight hero" should fold pre.
I'm fine with the flop raise as played.
Are we giving up on river? What do we think villain is calling us down with?

Fold pre. Your hand is not even a 3bet vs EP, just a pure fold, especially vs 4x. Postflop is fine.

preflop is very large spew but having gotten here like this id bluff the river. you really dont have anything else to bluff with and you have great blockers. given he sometimes raises somewhere earlier with sets (particularly TT) i think j is probably best full house blocker to have here (probably the only one u can really have along with the As except for maybe AsTx and i think this is marginally better removal) and As is powerful too. Probably just put the money in and expect him to fold anything that isn't a fullhouse. i just dont think our showdown value is really all that existent vs an EP range that b/c flop and calls turn and whatever bluffs you should have - 9x, flush draw all got there. river looks like 550 into 450? id put it in at this point, its actually a really difficult spot for sb to be bluffing.

pre justification is wrong, this hand is a fold not a 3b vs ep

You beat ATs, KTs, QTs, block JTs, unblock ATs. You could possibly have AQo with As

Honestly I think it is all somewhat of a moot point because we make our life easier and don't sacrifice much if any really EV but just not flatting out of the small blind.

Agree with Submersible.

Fold Pre and bigger on the turn.

i mean. i think V checks Tx otf sometimes and folds the turn with no redraw with Tx a huge amount of the time. like idk man, what are the odds someone b/c the flop w QThh and gets xred and then call this turn vs a sb flatting range? id guess that happens less than 15% of the time unless v is a whale lol.

I'd think the ev of xring AsJx is a decent amount higher than AsQx otf and from a river blocker standpoint you block 2 combos of JJ that will never fold and unblock 3 combos of QsQx that should fold basically always (compared to AsQx). yeah the ev of checking AJ is higher than AQ but i dont think its by much (i just don't think v has too many hands we beat) and you still need them to actually check back the river with the hands you beat instead of bluffing with them.

its worth pointing out there are sims on gtowizard with sb having a flatting range vs ep (although vs much smaller opens)
