Hero $550, MAWG, TAG image, not playing many hands due to being card dead.
V1 $800, MAWG, fairly regular to this game and player pool, usually plays pretty straightforward but I have seen him put pressure on players with big draws.
V2 $1000, YWM, totally unknown, just got moved from the must-move game within the last orbit.
OTTH. Hero opens UTG to $20 with K heart K spade, V1 calls mp, V2 calls from SB, BB folds.
Flop ($65) 7 heart, 4 heart, 3 spades. Hero c-bets $40, V1 calls, V2 check raises to $140. Hero calls $100 more, V1 now goes all-in, V2 moves all in and Hero?
Yeah perhaps they both have monster draws or pair-combo draws, in which they have a fair amount of equity or at least one has a made hand and you are in deep doo-doo.
Fold. There are combinations that you are getting odds against, such as both on flush draws. There are more where you are crushed. Probably the most common combination here is one has a set and the other a flush draw.
Thanks for all the replies/input on the hand. In the moment I ended up talking myself into a call and almost instantly realized it was a mistake. As predicted V1 had a set of 4's and V2 had a set of 7's that held to scoop a nice pot. I'm just getting back to playing poker seriously again after an almost 18 month hiatus so I definitely need to put a lot more thought into my decision making. I'm sure posting and reading hand histories on this forum will go a long way to improving my results!
