This was my thinking, I gave him a great spot to bluff.

This might be wishful thinking but given your read and how good our hand is in this spot, how can we fold? Villain could also recognize that we're playing TAG and that we're likely to bet-fold in many spots.
Agreed

As played, you look like you have AK, call.
I've been thinking about this a lot and I initially agreed that my flop bet should be bigger. Then I realized I might have incidentally induced a shove with a small flop bet.
I think this is an interesting situation that I need to study, what range of hands can we get V2 to bluff shove with, with a small weak flop bet. Ironically if I was doing this to induce a bluff then I'm obviously snap calling and not posting this hand on 2+2 so it was clearly unintentional.

I got 2 callers so this sizing at this table was fine.
Results
Flop ($170): 8
4
4
Hero (SB, $425): Bets $95
V1 (UTG, $505): Calls
V2 (BTN, $695): Shoves
Hero (SB, $330): Calls
V1: Snap calls and shows 88
Hero: Shows JJ
V2: Laughs and says he needs running 4s
Obviously V1 rolling over 88 is whatever **** happens, this hand is focused on V2. Does anyone else like betting small to induce a shove from V2? That's obviously not what I was intending but if I were in this spot again against a similar villain I think I would do that.
