$650 effective - main villain is 30 year old asian on the button. Passively vpiping very high - have seen him turn up with tpmk, but also complete sooted garbage.

Otth - hero has JJ in mp:

Utg limps, I raise to 30, co calls btn calls, utg calls.

Flop $127: K 5 7 rainbow

Checks to the button who bets $30

UTG folds

Hero ??

Pretty easy call/evaluate turn imo.

I think mixing bets and checks on this flop is fine btw.

Super straightforward call, but I disagree with XtraScratch8...I'm never betting this flop four ways.

Grunch

This is very dependent on BTN and CO imo.

If BTN is a bet when checked to kind of guy and CO tends to be passive I peel one off here. If BTN will check down multiway dry spots often and CO is aggressive I fold.

Readless I peel.

Post grunch. folding ever might be a bit nitty but I think cbetting this 4 ways is burning money. No one is folding a K and I don't think we are protecting much as board looks static.

Depending on what you think of BTN and UTG ranges and tendencies here a small cbet seems fine the odd time. If we’re calling $30 why do we hate betting 1/3rd? We have the best hand here a decent amount of the time and it’s super straightforward to play as a small cbet.

BTN is described a having a high VPIP with “tons of sooted garbage”.
UTG has limp called preflop.
Believe it or not, neither of these players have a strong hand here often at all.

Agree with not-cbetting this flop. It’s ok to Cbet sometimes 4-way on a K-high dry board because it hits your perceived range but JJ is about the worst holding to do it with. Better to cbet hands that have an ace and/or backdoor equity ie AQs.

Calling this tiny bet as others have said totally depends on BTN and to a lesser extent CO tendencies. I’m happy to bluff catch cheap against an IP stabby villain but folding is fine too even though it feels weak. Remember his betting range is also stronger multi-way and some ppl are clueless with sizing.

I’d much rather bet $30 into 3 people to clear out equity if nobody connected than c/c. Even if it checks through we’re giving 3 people a free card.

Especially since you’ll rarely get raised on this texture.

AP (sigh) snap fold. we’re drawing to 2 outs most likely. And even if we’re not I’m assuming we’re folding if V we’re to fire again.

I’m actually pretty big on price but more so in the context of when we’re drawing or on the river HU. In this case not so much

I would c/c KQ, AK, KK, AA, and 77 & 55 if you’re raising those pre here. c/f everything else 4 ways. sucks you got three callers and the board came K-high

Co has A5, btn had 109o

It’s almost as though I play against these types of players regularly.

When people are playing garbage ranges that have zero structure you should be adjusting accordingly, even in multi-way pots.
