V: no real reads. Seems like a good TAG. I’ve only been here half an hour and he isn’t really VPIPING at all. He covers

H: first hand I played. I have 500

One limp I raise HJ to 20 with QdQs v calls cutoff others fold

(50) flop 9s4d2c

I bet 20 v calls

Anyone do anything different here?

(90) turn 6s

I check v bets 50 we call

I like checking here OOP some of the time

190 river 8c

I check v bets 160

Thoughts?

We should be checking range on this flop vs a CO/BTN flatting HJ open.

After betting flop, we can mix betting, c/c, and c/r turn.

As played, river is easy call. We will have best hand a decent amount of the time.

Bigger pre over a limp. I would mix on flop, probably lean check. As played check call turn and river is good.

AP, I'd call river.

Flop - ok.

Turn - prefer B/F $55-60 to X/C. 2-street hand, let's get flop/turn value, then evaluate river with a perceived strong line.

Pre: Prefer 4x + 1bb for each limper

Flop: Betting my 9x, TT and JJ, QJ, JT and KQ with BDFD. Mixing my JJ-QQ and 55-88 between bet and c/c. c/r'ing my KK, AA and wheel draws with BDFD.

Turn: AP, I like overbetting with Qs or c/r without Qs. Don't love c/c'ing unless the bet is huge.

River: AP, call again.

Pre could be $25, but it's fine. I like the c-bet. I see no reason to check here.

Turn I probably continue. As played, call is fine (I call turn only if my plan is to call river, otherwise raise), and now I call river. We are so under-repped.

- 25 pre
- Slightly bigger c-bet. The board is dynamic, we want to protect vs Ax/Kx.
- I think we might be indifferent on the turn between checking/betting. I'd lean bet, and maybe check River depending on run out.
- We can block bet river/fold to a raise. But, AP, we call and hope villain has some TT/JJ/9x he will continue to value bet. But, because he has all these combos in range, I think I like going b/b/decide river.

If you're betting JT/KQ/QJ, I don't think we need to go for a x/r with AA/KK. I don't think we need any x/r range tbh. 55-88 we can deny equity with a small bet, although c/c has merit.

Too many other combos we can check like AK/AQ/88. We need to go for value with QQ and target TT/JJ/9x/AK/AJ etc.

Is folding terrible here?

We are super underrepped but assume the population is never bluffing here

Agreed, river bet is polar and population underbluffs, but c/c'ing turn and c/f'ing river when no draws or overcards complete (aside from 3x5x) is too nitty.

The bet is targeting hands like 77, AK, etc which is sorta what your hand looks like. Whether that's a bluff, a confident A9s/JJ/TT daring you to hero call or a monster is too hard to say. Can't fold river
