V1: playing pretty well overall. Seems like a standard TAG. Relatively unknown but getting coolered a lot this session.
V2: more loose than most. He definitely plays tighter against me than the field. In the past I’ve bluffed him a ton because he overfolds against me for sure.
H: should have a TAG image/slightly tilty
OTTH: v2 opens in early position to 20 we all have about 600 to start. I call cutoff with KJhh v1 calls BB
(62) flop Kd10h3d
V1 checks v2 bets 25 I call v1 calls
Seems standard, correct?
Turn 6d checks through
Anyone else doing anything different on this card in position?
are you worried about missing value here by just calling river and not raising ?
played well so far just call river small $50 bet reeks of wanting a raise
Not going to fold trips on the river to less than a half pot size bet after all the checking going on.
Preflop definitely squeeze. I don't think I can overstate the value of squeezing here. If everyone folds, that is a decent pot to take down preflop. If you thin the field to one caller, that is better than going multiway. You have great playability postflop. With betting initiative preflop in position, you get to see so many turns and rivers more cheaply while your opponents are forced to fold more often, even with the best hand. Without the betting lead you are forced out of the pot much more often.
My bad, I read it as V1 bet v2 calls then hero calls. All the same, KJs is a very standard 3bet preflop. Give yourself more ways to win the pot. Win a big pot instead of a small pot.
It's not terrible if you decide to low frequency just flat with KJs. But if you are mainly flatting KJs, you're just not 3betting enough.
