2/5 Flopped flush. So Lost.. 2/5 Flopped flush. So Lost..

if you are lost on the flop
you might as well fold preflop
dont play hands that you aren't comfortable getting it in with when you flop a monster!

as played fold pre
ship flop
ship turn
you raised with crap preflop and now you flop a monster, you have monster under the bed syndrome???
you want 444 flops? you want ak3 flops to bluff?
what better flops do you want??

in my experience vs. this profile of live player, their bets mean exactly what they appear to mean; they play their hand face up always.
This makes it ridiculously easy to play against them. Their bet sizing is always a direct reflection of the strength of their hand. they don't stick it in light going for value when they conclude they are ahead of your range. thats not how they think or play. thats how YOU think and play.
why pay off a player like this when you are not committed in the least.
with no $ in the pot, you would need to feel like you're good here the vast majority of the time.
I just don't see that happening.
call me a nit.
best advice ITT, live players like this woman you have described, are really only raising this flop with the nuts, w/ 2 pair or a set she is more likely to just check/call all the way, on any non h turn or river.

First of all, OP gave us no indication this woman is a bad player. In fact, there's a fat middle-aged woman that plays 2/5 for a living in AC and Philly. No way is she raising with the stone cold nuts on this flop. She's raising when she doesn't have the nuts, in an effort to isolate the weak donk. With a set or two pair, she has to worry about another coming on the turn, so she's raising with those hands.

Very true. Never judge a book by it's cover.

Fat/middle aged doesn't always mean transparent at the table.

That being said, I still advocate for either the flop shove or flat/shove turn to no

Are you suggesting that I fold the flop?

Well Id rather just shove or fold, im never flatting here, thats ******ed, as someone else already mentioned it just screams a draw and its better to just get it in otf. But this is a really tough spot, i'm a nit and would probably fold pre, and fold the flop.

In all seriousness this player has a higher flush a pretty high percentage of the time. As some people have stated (in a bit oversimplified of a manner) female players this age are unlikely to be raising the flop with anything else. It's not an easy fold but one you can make.
