2/5 8 handed . $650 effective
Villain UTG $500 raises $25 (new to the table, late 40s unknown to me)
MP1(Covers, early 60s guy not a nit and not some lag or loose passive, don't know if he is capable of bluffing or GII light) calls
MP2 (Old guy, terrible doesn't know what he's doing half the time, been playing for years) ~$350... Calls.
SB covers (another loose passive preflop old guy, will put in large bets with one pair either calling or betting himself, called my $20 UTG open earlier with A6s from utg+1, as hand went to showdown) ... Calls
Hero in BB $650 has 55 (don't remember suits, irrelevant) calls
Flop($125) K95 rainbow
UTG bets $50. MP1 calls, MP2 calls, SB folds, Hero raises to $235 .... I did this for value and not protection really as I want to get stacks in with UTG and or UTG +1 if utg has AA, AK or if UTG+1 happens to have AK somehow, probably not getting it from KQ from him. Don't really want MP2 to get a cheap gutshot which is the type of hand he has here often when he overalls, he is the type to have all QJ+ QT+, 78+ hands that will call once there is a bet and other calls so I guess I'm protecting against that person however my objective was to get stacks in with UTG or UTG+1 somehow...
UTG folds after 10 seconds, and UTG+1 rips after about 10 seconds himself... MP folds.... I just puke and say well I guess I have to just give this guy with 99 the money seeing how infrequently you flop set over set. However my gut is telling me 99 is the only hand he backraises with and I'm just praying he has K9s or K5s, the latter probably far less likely... SOOOO do we ever make an fold here given his line or is the math of set over set so rare that we can't fold with approx $370 behind.
Given Villains line specifically I guess we can fold(????) As per Bart Hanson style fold to aggression from these player types etc. Like I said I don't think he's a nit preflop but I also don't have anything to show me he's capable of spazzing so I'm really beating myself up over this one....
Thanks.

Well we have ~41% vs. 99 and K9s/K5s. We have ~35% vs. 99/K9s. So there's your answer.

I just get it in, if he has us beat he has us beat, think there might also be a few other hands we might not expect from him too

It's too late to be worried about higher sets. All in.

You’re overthinking it. You can’t fold a flopped set at 5SPR. Good luck.

The remaining stack sizes answers the question, you're not folding a set here. It's not like you both have 2K behind. Also, people can show up with all sorts of random hands and if this is the guy who's capable of GII light it's the icing on the cake.

If you're worried about bottom set on a dry board, don't even play low pairs up to 99 preflop.
I'd be worried about bottom set on a board like 8 5 3 rainbow or something, but not here.
Also, I'm assuming this V is the one that has you covered so eff. stack is yours? Yeah, just rip it in. There should be plenty of AA and AK here to be profitable. Maybe even some non-believer QQ-TT pairs.

I think TT-QQ is highly ambitious. Don't think he does this with that when I check raise

Just call. Sometimes you need to make quads - Sometimes he over-slow played AA - sometimes it 2p. Call already.
