Ok so it was actually the second hand of a new table but the first hand was a chop. On the second hand it folds around to the button, a man in his 30's with black jacket, black tee shirt and sunglasses who raises to $15 on the button. I look down at AKo and pop it to $50, the big blind folds and the button flats. Effective stacks are $500. Flop is Adqc7d I lead for $65 and he pretty quickly makes it $175. What's my best play here? Obviously with no history on player as table just started.

I think that your lead out on the flop was a little on the low side, I would have potted it, but I dont have any problem getting it in, I think in most LLSNL situations, a hand thats ahead (AA/QQ/AQ/77) isnt playing it that fast. I would take a quick range of AJ-A7 (only behind A7) or maybe a combo draw like JdTd which with the extra money in the pot, your compelled to continue. Also most villians with like a KK in my experience are making this move to "see if their KK is good" Calling puts you in an awkward position, so I would shove and expect a fold or to be in great shape the majority of the time.

Pretty much this. In a 3-bet pot vs complete unknown who is on the button with a FD+gutty out there I'm piling here with 100bb at the start of hand.

AK AJ AT and a variety of flush draws are most of his range

Grunch.
Just call. Against an unknown with that appearance, this is an easy "get it in" with an SPR of 4.5. The question just becomes "how?" I think you want to keep his bluffs and weak hands in, so you call flop. Bet half pot ott. Shove river.

Is your K a diamond?

Because the guy wears black does this mean something?

^*I'm flatting and hooooooping for a diamond on the turn to jam on..(as long as you hand Kd)

Correction, you would not want to bet half pot ott and then shove river. Actually doing the math (sorry), we see there is 450 in the pot ott, with 275 effective stacks. You could just ship it ott, or do a weird bet of 125, planning 150 otr. Main point is get it in by the river. You chould even check the turn back and bet AI otr.

75 otf....just shove at this point. The person who said call to keep the air in his range, leading the turn isn't consistent with this logic because you're just folding out his air on the turn.

If you're concerned with keeping the air in his range then call flop and check turn to let him continue bluffing

If we shove and he calls it off with a flush draw, he is making an incredibly large mistake which we let him off the hook with if we just call the flop and give him a free card.

Thanks for the responses at the time I was thinking he could definitely have a combo draw like Jd10d or maybe just Ax. This flop does nail my range and I actually thought at the time he really liked his hand because I had shown nothing but strength and he still raised.
*results* I decided with 100 bb that I wasn't gonna be able to fold here with no information, I jammed and he snapped me off with AQ and held
