When you raise/bet you either need to be bluffing, or you need to have a clear idea of what weaker hands you're expecting to call. Otherwise raising is a mistake.
If you think he folds anything worse than AA, that means he calls with 66 and QQ. You're not ahead of that range. Since he probably doesn't raise 66 pre-flop you're drawing to one out against the range you gave the Villain.
If you desperately try to fold out all the hands that are behind you, you shouldn't be surprised when you're called that you're the one who is behind.
