Villain raises in HJ 20, co calls, hero squeezes in bb to 100 with A

, only villain calls.

Flop (225) Q

hero checks, villain bets 70, hero calls.
Turn (365) Q

hero checks, villain bets 250, hero?

Not sure but I think we have a good bluffcatcher unblocking

and

and blocking good toppairs. On the other hand it feels shitty to continue ott.

I'd probably just blast flop $150 myself. It's a board we should be betting almost always. Small sizing works too, I've just been finding large bets in 3b pots get more overfolds than they should. Turn seems like a solid fold. We've got a bunch of pairs and FDs that make better defends. If we're going with A high's here, we're getting too wide.

edit: Also, if you call, river will be 865 with 280 left in stacks. V's essentially going AI.

Why aren't we betting this flop tho? In theory it's a big bet board and with our specific hand it makes a ton on sense. We block his best top pairs and we pick up equity on tons of turns. I like betting 150-175 with a plan to shove any diamond, A, K, 2 or 4 that aren't clubs on the turn

Even just betting 1/3 with range is good because the board wiffs so much of his range.

I would go slightly bigger pre.

This is a flop that I like to just go 1/3 with my whole range. If I were to check though, I agree that it's a straightforward call versus his bet.

We have to fold turn. We didn't pick up any equity and we only have A high.

This hand is way too strong to just flat pre. What hands are you 3 betting, and why would you suggest only flatting?

As the 3Bettor pre, c-betting this texture with BD possibilities almost all of the time.

I like a 1/3 PSB, then larger OTT if we pick up equity.

AP, turn is an EZ fold.
