I think chkturn to induce bluffs from good player only gives free cards to good players in this particular spot. They just shouldnt have very many hands that they should want to turn into bluffs here.
Note: I dont want to induce any raises on the turn as I think his raising range will be more nuts than bluffs. Its too optimistic to play so fancy vs a villain that we have very little clue as to histendencies regarding those bluffs and spews etc.
ANL, you underestimate young TAGs way too much. 125/fold is horrible here in this Way Ahead/Way Behind spot. We might push out some weaker Ax hands and pocket pairs with a big 125 bet here. That's a disaster. Even worse, ANL's 125/fold line might even get us to fold the best hand to Villain's AK-AJ hands that decide to go broke on the turn.
We have TPTK with a NFD redraw on turn, so we don't need to worry about giving free cards here. Villain likely has 1-2 outs at most here if we are ahead.
Against a young TAG, I would prefer a turn check to encourage the young TAG Villain to value-own himself or start bluffing turn as part of a flop float. We don't lose value from Ax because he will usually bet the turn himself anyway.
