Reads: Late 20s or so white guy who is a total unknown. I'm also a total unknown to him. This is a new table, and is literally the first hand. I am on the button.

Folds to villain who makes it $15 in the HJ. I flat with A10. Everyone else folds.

$450 effective and a $37 pot.

Flop: KJ5. Check/check.

Turn: KJ5J. Villain bets $15 into ~$35 (after rake). I make it $50. He tank calls.

River: KJ5J8. He checks. Hero?

I dont like how you got here. Fold pre. I suppose you rep Jx pretty well here though. I wouldnt raise turn unless your plan is to bomb the river if called. Unless you pick up some tell that says he is slowplaying a monster, im betting $110 otr.

Fold pre readless
Bet flop
I'd just flat turn
Give up on river. His is weird but it seems like he's slow playing something strong a lot here. What are we trying to fold out on the river?

I guess we are trying to fold out a slowplayed Kx in this spot or maybe QQ. Overall, I tend to not really bluff unknowns with limited reads since you have no idea how V plays. Since the majority of V's end up making the mistake of calling too much; I would wait to see if he is capable of making laydowns before I try to bluff here.

Setting up a bluff without reads is meh. Fold turn until we have more info.

We're repping a Jack here, so what is he going to call with on the turn? Combo draws? Kx that got fancy and delayed a c-bet? By virtue of his calling turn we have to already think he's a bit of a station.

dude bet flop here like always then proceed.

as played i think a big bet here is basically 50/50 on whether he folds, i highly doubt dude has a K here. really comes down to how much of station he is which we don't know.

Fold pre with no reads. Bluffing river is meh since he called turn raise he has flush draws and Jx in his range. He would not check a K on the flop so a river bluff is pretty meh. Only thing you got going for you is the nut flush blocker. I think a big river bet is basically repping a boat and there is not many boats that you could of got to river with.

Most people are saying fold pre flop. This hand seemed close...I'm fairly sure A10s is a call, and A9o is a fold...my flatting range here is lots of small to medium pairs, suited broadway cards, A10o+, KQo, suited connectors and some suited gappers.

What are you repping? Would you ever check a K or J on this flop? no

Raise pre, bet flop, print manies, rub on titties

A10o is a fold to an unknown, if you know him to open light on the CO then I would 3bet. Calling is the most -ev option

You are only calling to hit a flop which is a losing bet in itself and even if it's ace high, are you calling him down thinking he opened with A9 or lower?

You can also call if you want to be creative with it and try to bluff him off his air cbet, but an unknown could be opening with permiums and have you smoked

Yeah after reviewing this one, I think A10o is a fold pre, A10s is a call.

Bet flop when checked to. We have good equity against most hands with our gutshot and backdoor nut flush draw. I think the turn is close between calling and folding. I would fold. River is a check.

Bad spot. No reads, whiff flop. As played, check river or psb if you're confident and can rep flush / trip J's.
