2/5 4 players, bad/inexperienced players

Effective stacks: $300

Hero has 6 6 in BB, folds around, SB completes, Hero raises to $16, SB calls

($32) flop... 4 3 2
SB checks, Hero bets $18, SB calls

($68) turn... 3
SB checks, Hero ?

preflop and flop standard enough?

Why didn't you just chop? AP, I see no reason not to bet the turn. However, bad/inexperienced players isn't enough to make a good decision on...

we agreed not to chop 4-handed... so that was out of question..

pre, flop and turn sizing is what i'm interested in...

Cool so far - turn bet half pot for a little protection and some value against any BDFD he picked up as well as naked SD and pair+SD. I'd be tempted to maybe size a little more than normal vs bad/inexperienced V. If ck-r occurs, smaller sizing will at least give you the option to call w a fair amount of equity.

If ck to on most rivers, there could be a little room for a thinny thin thin VB targeting 4x/A2 type stuff, but mostly check back.

i missed that you were 4-handed. If Vs are weak and prone to calling then I'm going to bet bigger on the turn... 55ish.

$50 OTT as played. Given V descripts, higher pre and OTF.

Pre is fine.
Flop is fine.

$30 - $37 on the turn is good.
It changed pretty much exaclty nothing.

Bet for sure, only question is sizing. Would like a more specific read on SB for this, but somewhere in the half-pot range seems good to me. I don't like $50 that much because you make it really hard for a bad player to make a mistake, i.e. call with worse, stuff like AT or whatever. $35 sometimes gets value, sometimes protects equity, and has an easy fold to a check/raise.

No, cause it leaves very little for SB to call with. He completed rather than raised so his overpairs are limited. I think he frequently has Ax so I'm targeting that with all my value range probably.

edit: This is all based on the assumptions I'm making from OP's general description of "bad/inexperienced players". If you have a specific read that they're not gonna call $30ish with AT then you'd reevaluate, but the general bad 1/2 player I have in mind would call there often.

double-edit: Oh, the post I was replying to was deleted, that's awkward
