2/5-100 spread... Dude just sat down... 30 something Mediterraneanish- quiet posted utg + 2 and then folded next 2 hands*

Not that interesting of a hand- just need a line check vs unknown*

I'm a little rusty, haven't played in 2 months, also haven't quite figured optimal style for 100 cap... Haven't played a hand since he sat down*

300 eff stacks

2 limps to me I open cut w KQhs to 15

Vill calls in sb, as does 1 limper

Flop ks 8s 2c (pot 55)
Cks to me
I bet 45

V calls quickly in sb

Turn 3x (pot 145)

V cks quick*
I fire 100

He insta raises to 200

I had him on flush draw basis speed of flop call and turn ck... But now I'm facing 100 into 445

Gut says fold but due to sick price and no reads should I call??? Should I have bet smaller at some point??? Stupid capped game!!! I don't want to ck turn back for pot control since FDs are major part of his range... Plus I'm ahead of his kx hands but am I really ever good here?????

Basically boring hand but thoughts on sizing, dealing with capped game, any reason to give free turn card or bet/fold a smaller amount and dealing with unknowns appreciated...

Maybe bet/fold 60 on turn? Open bigger pre given limpers????

seems standard. id look at the spot as calling 200 to win 545, this gives is 2.25:1 (assume he will bet the river when you call) do you think hes doing this with a draw 40% of the time, or with a worse king?

if so then call/c/c. spread limit games are weird and where you might fold this an NL because you risk your entire stack here you can only lose 33bb on the river so its kinda close. i do not play spread limit games other then 1-3 or 1-5 stud when im waiting for a seat in NL and it might take 45 mins or so ill donk around in those games.

pre and post i feel are fine as played

Baluga says time to let it go.

You're beat here nearly 100% of the time. A raise of 100 is giving you 4.5:1. He desperately wants a call. As Mike Caro said, if a player wants you to do something, disappoint them.

I agree with you to an extent, but I think villain could justify an odds call. Live players can do strange things with top pair or flush draws. So, I think if we have the equity based on a poker stove (which I don't have on this computer), it's a call.

Also, I don't know if v-betting for more than half your stack and folding is a good fundamental play.

the raise of 100 is the max they can bet. its much different and possible to not be a baluga spot

I would c-bet less. Its a fairly dry board except the FD. $35 would be fine.

I would fold the turn though.

Raise more pre, bet flop bigger for value.

Everything else is fine, if you folded.
