FR for once. Villain is 14.6.6 over 66 hands. Chances are high I misplayed this hand completely, I called behind twice because this is a wa/wb situation obv. But I don't like my play at all, please berate me.

Pre Flop: Hero is UTG+2 with K K
2 folds, Hero raises to $14, 3 folds, BTN calls $14, 2 folds

Flop: ($34.00) 9 9 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $25, BTN raises to $60, Hero calls $35

Hero checks, BTN bets $70, Hero calls $70

River: ($294.00) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $252.90 all in, Hero hates himself and?

Questions:
1) Is it a mistake to call the flop instead of re-raising?
2) Should we lead this turn instead of check-calling?
3) As played, anybody calls his river shove?

Tough spot. Total judgment call, but I think you played it fine.

Flop: I would also just call the raise. But, the argument could be made for raising to get QQ-TT to pay you off and price out str8 draws. However, I think a call gets more money from hands you beat.

Turn: I like c/c, planning to call a reasonable river bet.

River: Well, he just made it hard on you. Up until this point, I put him most likely on QQ-TT. This bet changes things imo b/c I don't think those hands are normally betting the river. I think he either has a monster or a bluff. Tough decision. I don't mind the fold. You'll hate yourself either way. FWIW, b/c I put him on QQ-TT through the turn, I'd normally lead the river -- I'd call a raise, though, b/c I'd be so committed.
