I think I just make the crying call - the bet's so small. It's possible he could have a worse flush (not likely tho).

Why are you so scared of the river? No fullhouse hands make sense. Almost all of them either fold preflop or 3-bet preflop except KQ which folds the flop alot. 77 I guess but you have a 7, it often 3-bets preflop and it often puts more action in on the flop if the one combination of it happens to flatcall preflop. We are still losing to a higher flush sometimes and Im not completely sure if worse hands are calling a shove enough to make it profitable so even though I don't think he has a fullhouse often I'm still lost on the river.

Can you give us some insight why you c/r the flop? I probably just bet it so that on turns when we miss it makes the hand less awkward with the stacks to play, but I guess I could be convinced that a flop c/r is good. I think the flop play may be a big reason for the tough decision on river but that may be me being results orientated.

wouldn't suprise me if he had AJ with the J diamonds quite often in this spot perhaps not with those stats i guess but there are enough dumb plays on the net for me to be calling the river.
results??

He didn't fold to c-bets very often, I think the c/r increases my FE and wins more money.

When he calls, I put him on two-pair or a weird slowplayed AA,QQ, maybe a better FD, but I doubt he bets the flop with a draw, given his AFq. He might be dumb enough to call me with some AJ-like hand, but it's unlikely imo.

The turn eliminates about every FD out of his range, except JTs. He called my bet after thinking for a little while, so what hands does he do this with other than two-pairs/sets/flushes? Remember he only goes to SD with the nuts.

I hate the river, because a FH is possible now and I don't get any value out of AQ anymore. I know we don't put villains on 1-hand-ranges, but I thought his most likely holding was QQ, so I checked to see what he would do.

So, what's the idea behind shoving into a player who will never call with a worse hand?

Why are people hating on the flop c/r? I think the play is fine - that board texture hits your opponent often enough and weakly enough that he'll bet and fold to a c/r pretty enough to make this profitable.

- u charged him enough on turn that u can call this small bet no matter what
- i think as the hand went down he will not have boat here often ..its snap any case
- c/r the flop is not so good imo cbet and go allin is better cos -1. he can be bluff raising u on that board, 2. he cant call with his flush draws 3. he is folding higher pairs 4...5...
anyway snap it. i dont think checking is bad tho cos some ppl will bluff that board..
