After 34 hands, Villain is pretty crazy 62/24. I can't say too much more except he does weird things and likes small bets and raises -- here are the only two other hands we've played:

Hand 1: I called down hoping he was doing something spazzy, because he gave me a good price, and because I didn't think he'd fold anything to a raise. I'm aware I don't beat any actual hands vs. a sane opponent.

Granted this opponent isn't sane ...

who cares what # nuts you have, his play isn't consistent with any lower number.

I think I wouldn't be surprised to see 86/T6/Q6 (or more rarely QQ/TT/88/66).

Besides, it's not like it's really consistent with any higher # either -- what hands worse than a straight are overbet open-shoving the river here for value? What hands overbet-bluff shove after b/c flop, c/c turn?

If a player like this has seen you call him down three streets with 44 in a previous hand, don't you think he's capable of shoving a bare 6 here for value?

As you said in the OP, he's pretty crazy, possibly crazy enough to think this might be a good spot to bluff with some random pair or missed draw which he somehow got to the river with.

If he would have trips or 2pair on the flop, he would get it in on the flop because the board is so drawy.

He could definately play 56s 67s like this with your calling behaviour. I would not get away from this and call.

I called and won. Didn't think too much of it at the time, and apparently nobody else thinks it's even remotely close either.

First hand: sure I could fold the river but he's obviously a bad player and he's giving me great odds -- I think 1 time in 7 he could be doing this with some random junk.

Last hand: I think you can go either way with isolating or overlimping preflop here. I agree my turn bet should have been roughly pot-sized.
