Do you really expect us to give a great opinion just saying he's a "standard TAG"?

i like it...if you're gonna be calling 3 bets w/ the 79 suiteds you have to pick some spots to take pots away...I like this spot...as he really is going to have trouble proceeding w/ no A...as played i like it very much. Also if I flopped huge...that's about how much I would 3 bet to.

i dont like it
any decent villain knows that you almost never have an A here and that even if u did stay in with a AJs/AQs you are probably just flatting

Even his air might just say **** you, you never have an ace and rejam. I hate this but more info would be a lot better.

20k hands: 15/11, aggressive preflop, resteals about 10%, but definitely more vs me. straight-forward postflop.

i like the idea here and i don't think it is a bad spot but it is very player dependant, if i know what their Cbet frequency is in 3 bet pots and its super high then i would be more comfortable with the play

It's prob about break even tho in the long run maybe slightly -ev against certain players but as far as meta game goes its great as long as you wud raise an A in this spot and not just flat it.

i wouldnt mind flatting with the intention of jamming river if he checks behind on turn, but people like to hero call so again player dependant

I think we need more info on villain. Assuming he just sat down, I'm not a big fan of this, unless this is how you normally play AK/AQ. Most people w position would probably just call flop, no? If you want to make a move, I prefer calling and betting a checked turn (but again, depends on villain).

I like it better if no flush draw.
