I mean ok w/e but the game is ultimately about exploiting edges. Squeezing equities is prob the biggest edge you can have in a stationey 100bb game

The bigger the stacks, the more you can lean towards playing passively and playing postflop poker.

Another important piece of information would be the properties of the limpers (especially if any of them are loose and will likely see a flop). The more straightforward / non-tricky they are, the more you should be raising; the more tricky / good they are, the more you should play passively OOP.

The bolded seems exactly backwards to me. Raising shortens the stacks and makes it harder for a tricky player to use position against you--if you don't have a position or skill edge then it would seem you need to exploit having the best hand. Or just fold.

Don't really remember much of the details of either hand. I am getting older, I should start inputting this stuff into my smartphone after I play hands cause I don't remember stuff with the razor sharp detail I used to.

I won both hands though. Flopped an Ace with AQ, flopped a set with QQ, so pretty straightforward from there.

Thanks for the tips, I normally would raise QQ from that position, but it was the exact same dudes that didn't fold when I raised to 8X the BB, so I wasn't sure what would thin the herd there. I get the raising for value though.

One other reason I don't necessarily like raising there is I feel I'm giving information about my hand without getting anything back. If the villains end up calling as I expect, all I know is that they are holdings hands in the wide limping range. Meanwhile I showed down AQ the last time I raised, so they get a general sense that I'm raising with a premium hand. So once again, I'm OOP without much additional knowledge about their hands. Thoughts on this?

The value in this game is more important than the information given away. Quite frankly, you can sit there all night, only play KK+, and people will joke about how tight you are, but when you raise, here they are, calling. They will not adjust to your range, and will constantly pay too much to play their hands.
