2/3, 500 cap, 6 handed

Hero has around 575

utg (400) limps, villain in HJ limps (big stack, has around 1.1k/1.2k says and claims out loud he is leaving soon but is willing to give action before he goes as a bunch of players have been leaving and entering this game and *doesn't want the game to break too early, late 30's early 40's, looks semi competent), hero in CO with QcJs opens to 21 (I usually open to 15 + big blind per limper), UTG and villain calls.

Flop (68)

Js8d4d

checks to hero and bets 30, first villain folds and HJ check raises to 150. Hero??

Hero flats.

Turn (368)

5s

HJ jams about 5-10 seconds after turn card comes out for remaining stack of hero ~400. Hero??

Fold TP3K to his huge flop x/r

AP the turn changed nothing. If you thought you were ahead on the flop you're still ahead now because he probably continues with all his bluffs and draws

Fold flop to the 5x x/r from the guy who says he's leaving soon. You have TP3K with no draws to bail you out.

Pretty gross spot. Personally, I don't like the open because that seems to be a trouble hand -- and here we are. If you thought you were ahead on the flop, you should have shoved then. Now you need to get a really good read off the guy and figure it out, but from my computer it's a fold. You lose to KJ/QJ/QJ/two pair/67/set/etc.

It's an easy peezy fold to the c/r. If by chance he did this with JT, good for him but I would think "giving action" means calling wider pre, not spazzing out post.

This is an easy situation. Its 1/3, someone's betting like crazy because they're excited at a good hand. When facing that re-raise that's larger than the whole pot, you should be expecting that the person has a huge hand or has just a good hand, like AJ and is betting to avoid the flush coming. Either way, don't call this and when facing huge raises on the turn, you need to plan why you're calling. You don't call there hoping someone starts checking.

By the way, someone saying they're giving action doesn't mean they are. Also, up money and ready to go people usually play tighter.
