2/3, weeknight, 9-handed
Extremely loose and splashy table, with maybe 1-2 "proper" players.

Villain (late 20's black male, 50/25, $900) opens UTG to $15.
4 players call; all are loose to maniacal.
Hero ($670) calls in the big blind with K3ss.

Flop (6 players, $92): As Kc 7s

All 6 players check

Turn (6 players, $92): 4d

Hero bets $25, Villain raises to $110, everyone else folds

What do you do?

Pre is whatever so here we are.

Flop: standard check.

Turn: H's lead seems optimistic. I prefer to check this brick. XR by V I think is actually good for H because it suggests V has a hand and that H can get paid off if we make our flush.

We get almost 5-2 to make the call for 85. We have pretty good IO on river because of the XR. If we spike our spade, we can lead pot-sized ~300 or more with a really good chance of getting paid. We can also jam 8 or 3 river and rep straight. We can also just jam all rivers too.

I think it's a close decision and comes down to whether this V has a fold button. Because V obviously has a hand, our read must be that V is sophisticated enough to make big laydown on the river if we jam.

Pre feels like a fold, but I get it.

Flop. Obvious check is Obvious check
Turn. Hate the lead into so many players. On call of raise. Close, but I probably call given odds and implied odds.

Pre is a big leak. Don't do this.

Out of curiosity, what do you do if he bets flop like $35 and others fold?

Your title says "top pair +nfd" but it's not top pair. I dislike leading turn as Ax is still very possible and is never folding.

AP call seems right but we need a plan to get max value when we bink. Will he bet AK+ on spade rivers?

I fold preflop. I just don't like the RIO against Axs (which everyone plays) and we'll be OOP to boot postflop. I pretty much only play Kxs on the Button in limped pots, and even then I often just pass on it unless some truly special players are in the pot.

I'm fine with a check/evaluate on the flop. Depending on who does what and whether I think I have any FE against these jokers I might check/raise or maybe just flat.

I think I might lean to just checking the turn and seeing what happens / getting to showdown UI / inducing. Weird play by the Villain to now wake up on the turn. It's almost as if he flopped a monster and was attempting to check/raise the flop. If he has indeed flopped a monster we're getting very poor odds to chase what may only be an 8-out flush draw, OOP to boot (reducing the chances of us getting paid off on the river). Even if all our outs are good (which they never are 100% of the time and we have high RIO when they aren't), it's still a meh spot facing this price. I think I just fold.
