V1: super tilted, lost a huge pot with set over set, later open shoved $400 with 77 only to be called by JJ and lose. Is stuck probably $1500 and playing ATC raising to $30 every other hand.
V2: looks like an old nit, has not played much hands
Hero: called down V1 who was bluffing with the nut low 23o two hands earlier.

Straddle is on and everyone calls trying to play a pot with V1. Hero is dealt KJo in +6 and limps. Button raises to $22(WTF) and six I callers including myself. (Pot ~$170). Then V2 shoves in the CO to $120 more. Surprisingly button folds and V1 shoves for $150. Hero looks to left and player folds out of turn. I end up calling because:

-a lot of dead money
-V1 is playing ATC
-Don't put V2 on a strong hand because he should have raised first orbit

Hard to tell exactly what the action is, but it looks like V2 flatted to allow V1 to raise, so that he could then come over the top. So V2 limps the straddle, BTN raises, V1 flats, V2 didn't get exactly what he was looking for but he's still jamming.


Whenever you've got a true lunatic at the table, expect a lot of monster hands to limp to him and let him put in the first bet preflop. This is why it's often best to but the lunatic to your immediate left. Everyone will often limp to him, giving you what amounts to the button every hand.

once V2 shoves i'm done with the hand. don't make the mistake of trying to get involved with V1 at all costs just like everyone else with a marginal hand.

I put too much thought into the dead money(1st orbit straddles and 2nd orbit $22 bets) and hoping he had mid pair.
