I sitting on a 800ish stack, and villian has 675. I have no solid read on villian as he has only been playing on the table for two orbits. During those two orbits, he has only played one hand, winning a showdown with pocket kings.

Two limpers in mid position (including villian), and i pop it 20 with two black jacks at cutoff, all folds to villian who calls.

Flop [Ac Ah Js]

Villian leads out for 40, and I just smooth call

Turn [Ac Ah Js] [8h]
Villian bets 75, again I just call

River [Ac Ah Js] [8h] [10h]
Villian shoves all in for 540, a massive overbet considering the pot is only around 280ish

What should I make of this bet? Easy call or fold???

Also, did I misplay my hand on any street - on the flop or turn?

as played i think this is actually a fold unless you think he's real donkey... if he's only played one other hand tho....

i just don't see what he's making that bet with besides a fullhouse "knowing" you can't lay down one yourself...

I always raise the flop in these situations if I think there's any chance my opponent has an Ace. The point of the raise is to build the pot to make it easier to get a deep stack all-in.

Yes, call river. You beat a couple of legit hands and also snap off some bluffs. Perhaps your passive play encouraged the villain to three-barrel bluff.

Ask Mr. Ivey what to do with flopped jacks full please.

In case he has AT: berate him for going to the river with only 3 aces.

Make the call first so you see what he has, and then only inform the dealer of this deck error if your opponent shows aces full. This way you either win the pot or chop the pot.
