Ordinarly I'd say if the board was rainbow I'd opt for a cbet because then we are happy to take it down with a high frequency.
You're giving reasons why we should bet, not check.
We want a spade to call, we're betting for value + protection here, not just protection.

How do we know any of this?

I've seen tons of people slow play AA, so while it's unlikely villain has AA, it's certainly possible.

Why wouldn't he have 99? No one 3bets 99 pre.
He check/called with a much better hand 2x, why couldn't he have 99?

Didn't realize it at the time of writing, but I figured it out by now :P
Only 2 combos of A3s though and I don't think a lot of ppl have much A3o in their SB calling range.

I'm being a bit hyperbolic by suggesting the unlikelihood of a slowplayed AA and the 1 ace removed on the flop. I think the most likely range is of course going to be every naked flush draw and some top pairs that call, and if we somehow get action after the board fills up we should be pretty elated. Am I calling off $5000 in a 1/2 game? No. If someone puts a gun to my head? No. But 350BB's? In this exact scenario? Totally fine.
