Just wondering what everyones vew is on this hand. Villain is 20/10 and seems very solid haven't seen him get out of line.
I decided to just call preflop as i think if i raise he is mucking AK and QQ which is all i can beat as i would put his range here as AA, KK, QQ, AKs i don't think he even repops JJ here preflop.
my basic feeling in this hand was that he is gonna show me AA a lot when we get it all in preflop. I felt like on the flop his bet was strong and not a C-bet with AK so i guess what I wanna know is this an insta muck when i miss the K on the flop? Is it a cooler?
This has been happening to me a lot recently KK vs AA I dunno if i am just running bad or whther i should be trying to get away from KK preflop.
really would like any advice with this hand specifically preflop and flop, turn play etc also if anyone has any other insights into KK vs AA would love to hear them. going to start tearing my hair out if i see AA vs my KK again!

I've just been going through holdem manager and i've had KK 76 times this month and i have run into AA 6 times thats 8% of the time, i play full ring so i think i should run into AA when i have KK 4% of the time??
I assume this is just natural variance and i just happen to be running slightly worse in that spot at the moment than usual?

You need to get that in PF. The CO opened and then the BTN could easily be isolating a weak opening range. Your push does not look that strong as you could be re-stealing. If you just call PF and see a Ace on the flop you are gonna shoot yourself.

Not to mention a cold call by you OOP looks stronger than a push.

nothing wrong with either player's play. as Sparky 999 metioned, you can't worry about AA all of the time! with no Ace on the flop, you can't put the button on AA. However, your read on a the villian as a tight player might change your actions after the all-in rr.
i would call all day.. pot committed with 2 cards to come....if he has AJ or JJ. But you can't worry about AA.
