Hi Guys,

I would really like som feedback on this hand

The game is 9 handed.

Anubis44 is pretty loose / passiv (vol.pot = 24% - Preflop raise = 2%)
Five8_8s is a typical TAG

Seat 1: anubis44 ($647.10 in chips)
Seat 2: SirMuckAIot ($1,022.00 in chips)
Seat 3: HERO [ QC,QS ] ($1,052.75 in chips)
Seat 4: Five_8s ($1,022.00 in chips)
Seat 5: Ishimatsu ($1,018.75 in chips)
Seat 6: mizar2 ($1,544.75 in chips)
Seat 8: vommond ($271.80 in chips)
Seat 9: ale1010 ($1,015.00 in chips)
Seat 10: lagerstam ($835.00 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
vommond posts blind ($5), ale1010 posts blind ($10).

With one limper ahead of me, I raise 4BB and get a cal behind me from Five_8s and Anubis44

The flop is:

334 pot = 135

Its checked to me

THOUGHTS:

This is a hand best suited to a small pot

I get pos. on the most likely flush /str8 draw + He only got 60BB = smaller implied odds for him

I might get a call with an overpair from the loose opponent

= I bet a smallish amount 80

Five_8s fold, Anubis44 call

The turn is 5 pot = 295

Anubis44 check

THOUGHTS

He might have a flush = try not to pot commit

He proberly have a flush draw = dont give free card

A bet here might encourage him to a winning hand on the chek the riwer (he might Check raise with strong flush, og be carefull with small)

= I bet a rather small amount again 170

What do you think? I would espacielly apprisiaded if you have comments to my the "thoughts during the hand"

Kindly Lars Kristensen

I'd bet a bit more on the flop, maybe 90+. I doubt villain would be calling the flop without a draw here, so I'd check turn and give him a free card. If a heart or A don't come on the river, and he checks again, a value bet seems reasonable. Fold to a re-raise obviously. Also, if villain pushed on the turn, I'd probably fold most of the time, unless I had a strong enough read that villain was bluffing. BTW, what table image do you have? Have you been pushed around on flops like this before, especially by the villain?

@BT2

if nothing to add, plz dont poste

@Romantwo

Thx for the comment.
I have been playing tight, but i seriously doubt that villian have been paying attention, he seems like a LP player who just play his own cards. And we havent had any real confrontation. However I noticed a tendenci to call con bet on flop, and then folding on turn

In your oppinoin (giving the stats). We are never getting a call from 66-TT ?

If the villain calls with 66-TT, that's would be pretty bad, considering your pre-flop raise and your TAG image. Your flop bet is a bit weak, but still, I can't see him calling with anything but a set/trips/FD/SD. I think if he calls your turn bet, you're beat. If he pushes, it may mean FD, maybe FD+SD, but I doubt it, he probably has a made hand (flush or trips likely) and expects you to call with big pair. TAGs stick to their big pairs, and if he's any good, he knows it. I don't think he wants a fold at this point.

This player is passive/bad. Bet 100+ on the flop. Bet/call big on the turn. He is not getting away from overpairs here and he doesn't have a flush that often. You really dont want to give him a free card here.
With these stack sizes I think it's important to bet bigger to make the hand easier to play.
