First hand I should have just folded pre but there is a fun player who Im trying to play as many hands as possible with on my direct right.

HH1
~$450 eff
UTG2 limps $3 (fun player) next to act I iso raise to $15 with K7, folds to SB who seems like a standard reg and he 3b! to $38, UTG2 calls, hero peel's - feel like SB knows fun player is getting iso' d a lot by me pre but his 3b size seems odd and I have the overlay from fun player

Flop ($114) 9Q5x
SB leads $50, +2 calls, hero calls

Turn ($264) K SB bets $210, UTG2 folds, Hero has about $350 behind??

HH2
~$500 eff
Hero btn Straddle to $6. 4 limps and hero checks J8

Flop($30) 79T
UTG leads $15, MP calls, LJ calls HJ calls, Hero raises to $70, folds to HJ who calls

Turn ($215) T HJ checks, Hero checks

River ($215) Q HJ checks, Hero bets $100, HJ snap jams for $420ish, Hero??

First hand you kinda got what you deserved by hitting the board as hard as you could and still being in a shitty spot. Fold pre. I think I sigh fold turn.

Hand 2 you’ve been reduced to a bluff catch. Bet / fold is fine.

Hand 1 is always going to be a disaster unless it's a KK7, K77, or 77x flop (even the 77x flop can be trouble at times). You're using the wrong hand to defend against what you think SB is doing. You may very well be correct, but this ain't the hand to do it with.

Hand 2 turn check is a blunder. River......meh, probably just fold now.

I don't mean this offensively, so I apologize if it comes off wrong. But if these are typical "tough spots" you're finding yourself in often, need to shore up a bunch of pre and post leaks. These are textbook situations for hand 1 preflop blunder and hand two turn blunders that will get us into a ton of trouble.

H1 fold pre first time solves all your problems. You’re likely behind a hand like AK/QQ/AA right now. I don’t think you have the implied pot odds to call turn. Sucks that you have to fold. But yeah, you’re here with a hand you shouldn’t be playing due to a preflop leak. That’s the lesson here.

H2 you need to raise larger on the flop. There’s $105 in the pot counting your flop call and you’re only making it $55 on top. I’d raise to $100. AP on river it’s kind of a suspicious line. Hard to put V on boats due to flop call and you’d think he would lead river with KJ and might not raise that hand on a paired board anyway. Definitely not a snap raise with a straight here. Very suspicious. Then again river raises are way underbluffed by LLSNL population and every time I make this call V shows up with the nonsensical boat. Probably fold.

H1:

Way too early to be attempting to iso junk, imo. Clear fold the first time. And even though we're getting good odds and will be in position, we have such a piece of cheese that I think we have to fold the second time too, no?

With an SPR of 4, I'd consider jamming the flop with our over + flush draw, especially if these guys are loose preflop and could have anything.

Pretty strong move to now bet the turn large into two players. I mean, this at minimum is starting to look like AK, but we're only getting a little over 2:1 needing 3:1 with very little behind. And it's not impossible we're drawing slimmer vs KK/QQ. Probably a fold at this point.

H2:

I wouldn't straddle. I also just see a flop preflop.

So there's $90 in the pot and 4 other players interested in this hand, lol, nice. Typically I like offering poor 2:1 odds (which would be $120), but with no flush draw, and fullhouse outs being sucked up by everyone, and only a couple of outs to chop, I don't mind sizing to something that just gets called.

I'm cool with the turn check back. We're not looking to play for stacks on this card. We could also possibly induce a river bluff from 8x or a counterfeited two pear. OESD aren't calling a bet on this card, so we're really only losing value from T8 (maybe a very loose JT).

I'm cool with our value bet on the river and I fold to the big jam unless there are some amazing reads that say otherwise.
