Hero is dealt KQo in the CO. $250 Effective.

Hero opens to $15, MAWG on the button calls, everyone else folds.

Flop ($30): J86r

Hero bets $20, V thinks for 20 seconds, calls.

Turn ($70): J86Ar

Hero bets $35, v thinks for 20 seconds, calls.

River ($140) J86A2

Hero bets $75

it's ok. Not the greatest since you have KQ and some better bluffs are T9, 97, 75. I would probably give up river with KQ in my hand or else I'm overbluffing this spot.

If I am barreling the turn, I am sizing up. If Villain calls $55, I am shutting down unless we bink the gutter. Because of the small sizing on the turn, I don't know if we can narrow the Villain's range enough to help us find out where he is.

I like that you have a plan but we need to have a reason to each betting street. With the 3rd barrel, you are representing 2 pair + and a good thinking player may lay down AT but the average rec at a 1/2 game isn't.

The key in these games is not to triple barrel bluff or even semi bluff. Make Top Top or better and extract value. This is how you print money at 1/2

I would check the flop as it hits the calling range harder than the raising range.

I would barrel the A, and barrel big on the river

I would be happier to bluff in position

Disagree with a big river sizing if you do choose to bluff.

you're targetting a fold from 6x, 8x, sometimes Jx. Villain is never folding an A here.

You don't need a large sizing to accomplish this so half pot is fine.

The problem I find though other than the fact that I have one of my worst bluffing candidates is that the river doesn't change the board at all so you're likely to get looked up at a higher frequency making the bluff less profitable.

Upon reflection, if we check flop and barrel A, we are repping A more than sets, so maybe a value bet bluff is more suitable.

Flop is pretty easy x/f.

Now that you bet turn, barrel turn bigger and shove river. You have a lot of value here that wants max value, and obv your bluffs want max FE. So doesnt rly make sense to bet turn small bet river small too.

I don't like it, especially once he calls the turn. River changed nothing so he likely is calling you down.

Seems leaky, especially on the sizing side.

Flop hits the caller range harder than yours, so I'd X/F.

Turn is a great bluff card for your range, so much bigger sizing.

River - surrender.

I'm ok with preflop.

I probably bet smaller on the flop; even a small of $15- will often lose Ax (a huge coup). ETA: Disagree with others regarding checking; I think we should have a very high cbet rate with whiffed KQ to fold out whiffed Ax.

One of the best turn cards to barrel, plus we pick up equity, so I certainly understand the barrel. Again, I probably size down here just slightly so that it doesn't have to work as often; the fact that we've raised preflop and bet 2 streets is sometimes scarier than the betsize itself (especially it if looks like we're attempting to milk).

I probably give up on the river. He called two barrels, which could easily be AJ or better at this point. Our hand also has showdown value against whiffed OESD that might not attempt a bluff given our strongish line to this point.
