Isn't calling the flop raise then betting the turn as strong as a flop reraise? A thinking V should figure out hero beats TPTK with either line. If he's committed to the pot, he's going to call regardless if you gii on the flop, turn, or river. So I don't see the value in letting V see another card or two.

Because it's a WA/WB situation and we're playing against a LAG that will shove the turn with near certainty if checked to.

Really comes down to how aggro this opponent really is. After rereading the OP, this guy actually doesn't look too aggro (sounds like he called with his flush draws instead of betting them?). The gig might be up after we call the flop raise, so at this point shoving *might* actually be better than giving the free cards (although we certainly risk losing Jx). If he really is aggro, then definitely on board with flatting and checking turn to induce.

This is a super-dry board, we have a few scheckles left behind, and we don't have a hand that we can fist-pump when we get it in on the flop. I don't know why we're rushing to get it in now. Let him bluff, let him talk himself into a river call, etc.
