First time playing in a 1/3 nl 9 handed home game, so not much info on players. 2hours into session. V is 40-50 yr old male playing a good amount of hands preflop. Have not seen him get out of line since I sat down post flop. Probably view me as tight because haven't played too many hands but I do play on the laggy side pf.

Hero UTG+1 (240) raises to 15 with JJ, V (450) calls in cutoff, everyone else folds.

Flop: 1095

Hero bets 25, V raised 55 after 10 sec, Hero raises to 140 after one min, V flats quickly.

Turn: 4

Thoughts on line? Will post results later tonight

If you're going to 3bet this flop, just shove imo

Leaving 100 behind for a 300 pot makes the turn awkward

On flop, I'd prefer flatting than 3betting

should have at least some info on how he plays post flop ie is he more stationy or aggro with his marginal hands or draws. if he's been more stationy, then flop is likely a b/f, or a b/c in this case since it is essentially a min raise, and you can reevaluate ott.

i agree with suqata that leaving 100 behind is pointless, and if you think you are ahead otf then i would go ahead and shove.

I'm not sure about JJ even when TWO JACKS hit flop.
