This happened within 30 minutes of me sitting down. At this point I haven稚 been involved in any meaningful hands. I知 mid twenties WG, play regularly at casino and viewed as competent. I have like $315 or so.

Main V is directly on my left with right around $300. Middle aged asian dude? I haven稚 seen him involved in many hands and don稚 have any reads other than just before this he moved directly to my left (tables big stack was directly on my right) so he may at least know away selection? However, he mentioned he wanted a better seat to watch the basketball game, so who really knows.

OTTH:

2 limps, hero bumps it to $21 in SB with KJss, annnnnnnnnnd

Everyone calls. I don稚 hate a squeeze here, but I知 not excited to go 5 ways in he absolute worst spot. Was really trying to narrow down to HU or 3 ways, but once the B.B. called it just waterfalled. I知 usually 5x + bb for each limp. What do you size here? Or do you just complete? Fold seems way too nitty.

The killers all have between $200-250.

Flop (~$100): K94

Case for leading? We have too pair, and any K, Q, 10, J, or spade allow us to pick up equity. Leading looks strong, and I think we also have some FE. Can also keep flush draws in the hand.

Anyways, hero screws up and thought there were only 4 in the pot, and leads for $35...

V basically min raises to $75. Original limpers fold...

Hero calls the $40 bc odds...?

Turn ($250): A, board is AK:94

Hero?

How is it fiveways? Two limps. You raise. Presumably BB calls. With the two limpers that makes four to the flop with pot around 85.

My bad, was on phone and missed. It was 5 to flop. 3 limpers, myself, SB.

Check is trivial. If you bet, he'll fold worse and call better. You might get him to fold specifically KQ, if he can have that.

I don't agree with this. HU maybe, but not 5 way. Hero needs to bet for value AND protection here as KT will call as will a good 9 that has BD equity. Also, make draws pay (clubs, QJ, QT etc.). I would bet somewhere around $65-$70 if the pot is $100; $55-$60 if $85.

I just see a cheap flop with a nice multiway hand preflop. Also, this result is totally standard and expected at my loose table.

This is one of the reasons I hate preflop. We just created a bloated SPR 2 - 3 pot where we can easily make a huge mistake with our TP (our most likely hand we'll make). Do we bet large to commit by the turn to make sure no one outdraws us in this huge pot? Do we stack off with TP3K? Our preflop play handcuffed all our postflop play (where we could have sussed out what was going on over multiple streets but now no longer have the benefit of doing that).

As played, I probably fold to the flop raise.

Now that we're on the turn I would just check and evaluate and only call a bet if I felt I was getting the correct odds.
