Hi all,

Quick question....

1/3 game Hero has roughly 160 V has H covered

V: best player at the table has been very aggressive and is waiting for the 2/5 game

H: raised UTG with KQss and some random V 3 bet with QQ. Hero folded pre and the villian in this hand noticed. Another hand I opened A10ss UTG and got 3 bet but the same V and folded. I think V noticed this and this is extremely important to the hand

OTTH: V is UTG and min raises to 6 (????) UTG+1 calls hero is UTG+2 with AQ off suit and raises to 22 action folds to V UTG and he raises to 100 total.... hero should...?

Hero should tighten up their EP raising range. KQs is usually OK but ATs is too weak.

As for the specific hand, the min raise is either price setting or trying to induce a raise. In the first case he probably has a middle or low pair and your coin flipping. In the second he probably has QQ+ or AK and you are in terrible shape. Either shove or fold, with your stack shoving can't be terrible but I would recommend fold.

I think it's a fold because we're either crushed or flipping. Definitely tighten up EP raising range though, especially with a solid villain acting behind, you're going to keep getting into marginal spots when you get 3 bet with AT.

Fold. I think you're suspecting that V is playing back at you and RR your raises light. But in this case, he didn't RR your raise, he raised and then 4b your RR. Unless you've been raising most of the time, he is very unlikely to have done this specifically to play back at you.

Until you have a good read that he does this with junk, AQo is an insta-muck.

LLSNL V's play back at you sufficiently rarely that you should treat it as never until the evidence is overwhelming that they are. And I mean something like V saying "I'm playing back at you because I've noticed <whatever>".
