You want to 4bet to $105 pre and then bet $80 into a $231 pot on the flop? Is this to induce or to keep worse hands in?

It's strictly for value and quite standard in a 4b pot, IP w a good OP on a nothing board.

You'd like your opponent to defend his entire range, get in a couple of streets, and keep things as wide as you can (not easy in a 4b pot) esp with a medium strong hand. You keep mentioning getting ck-r, it doesn't happen often in 4b pots and for good reason.

Both, and I didn't say to 4b to $105 pre...but here we are, so I'd bet $80. Is V going to call a flop bet and turn jam with AK/JJ? Two streets of value > one street of value

Please note, the following advice is not Snowie approved...

***

I see strong parallels between this hand and a recent Game of Thrones episode.

Remember earlier this week when Daenerys Stormborn chose to win the hearts and minds of her people by launching a multifaceted campaign against various military strongholds?

How'd that work out?

Her Unsullied are starving, her navy is sunk, and her allies are captured.

To recap:
  • You 4 bet QQ ...
  • Commited ~20% of your stack preflop...
  • Flopped an overpair with...
  • A ~2:1 SPR, and then ...

Got cold feet?

If I could offer some counsel:
  1. Pot the flop.
  2. Shove the turn. Any turn.
Done. Next hand.
