Folds around
UTG (Villain): Calls
EP: Folds

Flop ($100) 683

Villain: Checks
Hero: Bets $50
Villain: Raises to $180 with $30 behind
Hero: ??

Don't like him leaving 30 behind but I think there are enough draws and weaker over pairs to call off

Trivial shove, you’re committed with your overpair here. Expect to be reloading quite often.

+2.

Could anyone get behind a flat pre? What's the typical UTG opponent's range here?

As others have said, gii after 3b pre, 8-high board, 85 bbs effective.

Being new to a table, I'd strongly consider flatting an UTG open w/JJ.

I don't think we want to play JJ multi-ways in MP, assuming a few more people would have called after me.

We have no reads but I would flat villain if they were old or female.

I'm not thrilled but I get it in here. Generally I don't like bluff catching but when we beat hands in their value range like 99/TT we should usually call it off.
