V1 middle-aged Asian weak-tight serial limper, not many overcalls, V2 nondescript seems conservative neat chipstack etc. I am new to the table after about an orbit, just moved from broken 2/5. Good image prob as I dropped a rack at my seat and went to the cage to cash the rest out, end of a session.

ES $400 (V1). V2 covers Hero, I bought in max ($500).

V2 opens to $16 MP over a limper, I flat 65hh in HJ, V1 flats out of SB.

Flop ($50) Ah 7h 6d. V1 c, V2 leads $20, I flat, V1 c/c.

Turn ($110) 2c. V2 leads $35, I make it $115, V1 tank-calls, V2 instamucks.

River ($375) 8s. V1 genuinely considers betting, checks resignedly.

Seems like a FD that missed. Do we:

a) bet to fold out occasional K8hh that picked up a pair on the end?
b) check behind and showdown the semi-bluff and likely best hand?

Also turn raise seems standard against a range of 99-KK, AQ/AK no heart given weak turn lead by V2 but criticism welcome.

Even though price is cheapish and we'll have position, there's a decent chance this might only end up HU, so I'd probably just muck preflop (i.e. I'd want a more multiway pot for more immediate odds and more opponents to have implied odds against).

I'd probably raise the flop. If no one has an A, we'll probably take down the pot right now, otherwise we have good equity in the pot and can probably get to the river for free if desired.

When raiser keeps betting in a 3way pot on the turn (I certainly don't put KK-99 in his range at this point), I probably just go into try-to-hit-my-hand call mode; even though the bet is small, I'm kinda thinking we might not have a lot of FE against both villains at this point.

On the river, I believe Villain has $249 left in a $375 pot. Sometimes the almost-going-to-bet-but-decide-I'm-not is a weakish TP hand that really doesn't want to see a bet. But is an A going to fold, even to a shove, especially when the main flop draw busted? I think draws that busted but backed into a weak something (such as 85) will probably fold, but is it worth targetting those? I probably simply hope I'm up against a busted draw and check behind.

If I'm raising anywhere it's on the flop.

As played I guess I'd call turn with all the outs I likely have, the odds I'm being given, and the unlikely back-raise from V1.

I don't think you're going to win very often on the river at showdown, but I don't think you're going to get a fold from much either.

I like raising the flop as well. Even if he does have an ace, you can make life hell for him on later streets. On this board you many have real outs and phantom outs, and a scared ace can always put you on a set or AK. I don't like the "calling down a naked flush draw" line since we won't get much value; villains rarely bet draws strongly at this level anyway. Also it turns our hand into an RIO hand if the flush does hit, so I'd rather just protect my equity against draws by raising anyway.

We could commit to a strong raise/bet/bet line. Bluffing unknowns in LLSNL is often a bad idea but you just came off a win and there's a chance they noticed, so why not try it when you're confident?
