Game is 9 handed. I don't have much of a read on villain other than his bet sizes likely represent the strength of his hand.

Villain (BTN, $600) limps in preflop, SB calls, I raise from BB to $18 with AK ($500), only Villain calls.

Don’t like the turn bet at all. I think you either need to check or bet bigger. Being oop I’d probably X/C turn and reevaluate river. If V checks behind, value bet river and fold to a sizable raise.

With only person possibly in position (who is ABC?) I'm cool with preflop (might go slightly smaller but whatever).

I'm cool with our flop bet and turn bet and am totally fine with the sizing. I'm just looking to get paid off with worse while charging draws while not building a horrendous unmanageable pot OOP.

Kinda crappy river. It doesn't move our hand ahead of anything of his that we were behind to, it completes the main OESD draw, plus it makes it more difficult to get paid off by KQ/KJ. If he's ABC (and never going to attempt to bluff a busted 98) then I probably do a very small bet/fold here targetting his weaker hands, so like $40 or so (folding to a raise). We might eke out value against worse and we also set our price against straights (which might not even raise on this paired board).

I would bet a little bigger on the turn; btwn 1/2-2/3 psb; I think you give some of his draws a good price with the small sizing

Bet flop larger on the dynamic board. Kx is going to call any sized bet and we want to charge straight draws a lot.

Against tough villans I check turn, against stations I bet about 2/3 pot.
