the player is a savvy omaha player and plays pretty good but a bit spewy. earlier, i called his bluff with middle pair.

Lol I raise flop as played depending on how deep we are I would either call turn and call safe rivers or just raisecall turn. Folding is not an option

You left out the most important information, stack sizes. Preflop raise too small. Raise the weak flop lead. As played, you can't get away as he can't put you on AA. Stack size is important there however, which we don't have.

He can put you on AK when we call the turn, if he fires a big bet on the river we fear 65 a lot because live players like to get cute and bet 77 with pockets sevens and so forth.

Preflop: You may want to raise even more if the guy who limped in front of you is bad enough to limp/call more than 6 BBs, but going to $18 certainly isn't a mistake.

Flop: Raise the 1/6 pot bet from the magoo. He might give you unlimited action with a worse hand so you want to pump the pot up. I'd make it in the neighbood of $70 total. Also, by raising now it makes it look like you're going to go all the way with your hand to the guy behind you and he still has to worry about the magoo, so he's unlikely to try to bluff you on a board that can potentially cause you to ditch aces.

This is assuming 100 BB stack sizes. You need to put the stack sizes in your OP to get better answers from the forum.
