Raise much bigger preflop. I am thinking $25.
When you give the right odds to call you put yourself in tough decisions as villain's range will be very wide and include many suited connectors and double gappers.

As played, it's tough to get three streets of value from worse hands on this board especially with the turn card. You also have a nutflush draw so you don't necessarily mind seeing a free river card.

I would check turn and bet river if checked once more.

Looks like effective stacks are just $200 (unclear whether we are deeper with other stacks). Anyhoo, with these effective stacks at a typical 1/3 NL game with a straddle on, for me this is easily a raise to $20+ to get in 10% of stacks to stack off easily postflop (and could go even more depending on how loose table plays).

As played, SPR is ~4 and board is quite drawy, so I don't think we want to draw this out over 3 postflop streets. So I would PSB the flop in order to setup a turn shove.

Our sizing all around has left us in an awkward turn spot, with still over a PSB left in a pot we should feel committed in from preflop and yet now a bad card hits. I'd probably just shove anyways, hope to get paid off by other pairs, and otherwise have the heart draw as a backup.

I would usually make it $20 but it was my first hand so I wanted to look FOS and get light calls.

If it's literally your first hand at a readless table (i.e. you're unknown) then you should be going bigger with your raises to capitalize on your possible FOS image.

I believe HOC actually recommends lol shoving in this case (although that is probably overkill with such a strong hand and no real money in the pot yet, although if there hadda been a few overlimpers of the straddle before us it's not a horrible idea, imo).

either check and shove good rivers if it is checked to you or bet 35 and shove the river

Over a straddle just make it $25 preflop.

Turn I would check back and call most rivers or value bet $60 if villain checks.

talks about readless table and unknown
talks about playing more exploitable in the same sentence

As others have said, preflop blew the hand. One small mistake made about a 100bb difference in your day. That's the lesson here.
