Seems standard but looking for feedback

I have 650 to start I think effective stack is like 300 and it’s the main V

Lively table with lots of suboptimal play all around. Main v playing tighter than most but newer player 3 limps to me I make it 35 OTB with AhKh blinds fold straddle (playing way too many hands pre calls) two limpers call including main V in the cutoff

(144) Flop Ad3d8d

Checks to me I bet 50. All fold except main v who says one time!

(244) turn 2h check I bet 210 (all in for v) thoughts?

Bigger otf because of the flush draw.
Turn us a fine shove.

Yeah I think it’s fair to size up just a little but shoving any turn is good I think that’s obv not a diamond

Lowest stakes new players who say “one time” usually already got there.

Would anyone do anything different here?

Little bit bigger on the flop and shoving basically any non diamond turns- seems standard. Reloadtime if we ran into a bigger hand.

With a straddle on and 3 limps I'm probably going much bigger preflop. Going 4ways ain't great and creates a lol SPR < 2 where it will be difficult to get away postflop, so we have to make sure we don't offer ok IO. In this case we offered everyone about 12+:1, which isn't awesome for them by any means but I'd still like to attempt to offer worse.

Not the greatest flop but with an SPR < 2 I'm not really sure how we're supposed to get away. So I might just feel committed here. Sizing is awkward as obviously any bet commits. So I'd be going much larger and you could perhaps even argue for a shove.

Even with the small 1/3 PSB flop bet, we still only have a < PSB for the turn. Don't see what else we can do at this point but shove the rest in on this blank.

With the verbal weak = strong tell, you could check back turn and see what he does on the river.

I think the standard play is to play it the way you did, though.

I saw a reg do this to another reg with the nuts, and her opponent also jammed the turn and he beat her to the pot with a flopped straight. She was not a happy camper is an under statement.

While I can't speak to this particular hand, the vast majority of the time I've gotten stacks in with TPTK, or one pair, I lose. I'd say this applies to cash games more than my much more limited tournament experience.

Small hands, small pots.

Big hands, big pots.

I agree with this. But overall what decides whether a pot is small versus big is the size of it relative to the stacks behind (i.e. the SPR). Here the SPR is < 2, so we're mostly handcuffed at this point into committing our stack to win it with just TP.
