V: seems pretty active. Probably considered a good 1/3 player. Way too loose imo but small sample size

H: only been here an hour relatively active. Should have an okay image.

I cover v has 330

V is straddle for 6

I open 99 UTG for 18 short stacker (100) calls v calls

(50) flop 9s8s6d

V leads 40 we just call? Seems standard I suppose short stacker calls

(130) turn 5s (obv worst card in deck) we call after he bets 75 short stacker folds

(280) river Kd

He jams 197

Any other tips on how we can play this. We fold of course

More pre 20 to 25.

I'm raising this very wet flop to 130, with plan to jam most turns.

I just limp in and evaluate but that's me.

SPR is ~6, board is super wet, and we've got top set. So barring a horrible turn card (which there are a zillion), we're committed. I would attempt to get in stacks ASAP. So with him donking, my default would be to offer poor 2:1 odds to chase any draw, which would mean a raise to $170, which would then leave a $140 jam into $390. But leaving so little for the turn (just a 1/3rd PSB) and like most of the deck a scare card, I would actually just jam the flop.

Turn is gross. We're probably just barely getting the odds to chase our full house and have to be paid off like 100% of the time plus have to have the shortstack not sucking up any outs. But I guess the offchance (really?) that top set is still good so I guess I can't hate on a call.

I also fold the river I middle set / two pair is never doing this.

Turn and river fine as played but I think I'm with gg on the flop raise to $170 or more.

Shoving flop, there is so much value in equity denial, or he calls and we push our equity advantage. Sometimes he calls nearly dead too.

Anyone else agree with shoving/raising flop or just calling in position.

This is the toughest decision for me

I would hate to flat there, he's obv in love with his hand (donking out for almost pot in a 3 way hand). I raise, and would be happy getting stacks in at 55 bb's eff.
