Hero is a reg.

V1 is relatively unknown rec. He just lost a $350 stack back jamming A4o into QQ from hero and rebought.

V2 is a pro.

Button straddle to $15.

Hero opens JJ UTG to $40. V1 flats in +1. Folds to V2 in SB who raises to $200. Hero flats. V1 backjams for $700. V2 reshoves for $1,800 total. Hero?

At first thought I don't like to call off JJ from these positions pre. But hero is fairly capped here. V1's range I should be ahead of. V2 seems incentivized to restore TT+, AK, maybe AQ here.

Just gotta sigh fold here and hope V2 has QQ+.

V1.......likely a smaller PP or AK. I don't know the logic behind it, but I see this flat/back jam line a ton with pairs 55-TT and AK. Almost like they feel like they don't want to fold but also know they will probably fold most flops......so they just back jam when they don't get to see the flop for the initial raise price.

I don't think V2 is going to be jamming with much worse than TT+ and AK here. He'd have to feel he has a good amount of fold equity from you to jam with much else.

I wouldn't like it, but not sure how often we are right here and if it's enough to call off. So I just fold.

You'll either get to see V2's hand or have a pretty good idea if JJ was good.

So, if you do fold, I'd never tell V2 that you folded JJ there. Being a pro, I'm sure he knows you're usually capped in this line....but definitely don't want to let him know exactly how capped.

I don't think calling is going to be bad in the long run. Just pretty high variance. There's always a small chance V1 got "tricky" with QQ+ as well.

I think it’s close but I find the fold here. I agree that V2 is incentivized to jam his whole range but he did 3b a utg open and he knows V1 is liable to explode at any time.

Don’t tell anyone what you folded. Except us

I would fold to the first 3bet, especially after we opened to 40 from UTG. If he's a good 1/3 pro, he should know our range is strong to begin with. There's no question about folding to the jam. I think calling in both spots is pretty bad, but that's just me.

SB should still be pretty tight in this config I think JJ is a fold.

Spoiler:
Hero folded. V1 shows QQ. Flop is T high and he scoops. V2 said he had AQ, not sure if he is telling truth, bit it could make sense.

I ran the EV with the side pot and main with some ranges I could give them both and I think it might be a call if V2 can have AK+ and TT+, definitely if he has AQ+. I didn't think V1 would have just flat QQ pre, but from what I saw earlier it seems like he should be pretty wide.

I do think there's a chance he may flat AA/KK rather than rejam to get you to come along.
